PRIVACY PROTECTION POLICY

The Law Office of Sheila K. Rosenstein ("we", "us", "our", the "Firm") sets forth the following Privacy Protection Policy ("Policy") in accordance with Connecticut Public Act 08-167 (the "Act").

For the purposes of this Policy "personal information" means the information described in Section 1 (c) of the Act, namely that information which is capable of being associated with a particular individual through one or more identifiers, including, but not limited to, a Social Security number, a driver's license number, a state identification card number, an account number, a credit or debit card number, a passport number, an alien registration number and/or a health insurance identification number. For the purposes of this Policy identifiers within the meaning of Section 1(c) of the Act may be contained in correspondence regarding a particular individual which is not seen by the general public, draft and final agreements involving a particular individual which are not available to the general public, confidential notes and drafts referencing a particular individual, trial, hearing and/or deposition transcript which are not available to the general public, financial affidavits which are not available to the general public, interrogatories and answers to the same which are not available to the general public, and requests for production of documents, formal or informal, and responses to the same, which are not available to the general public. The personal information we gather may be contained in paper documents, objects, disks, CDs, photographs, video, all forms of electronic memory storage, e-mail, voice mail, text messages and/or web site postings. We limit the use of Social Security numbers to those situations where there is no practical alternative but to use them and we take appropriate steps to protect their confidentiality, to prohibit unlawful disclosure and to limit access to them. We carefully safeguard data, computer files and documents containing personal information from improper or unlawful disclosure to and/or misuse by third parties. At the conclusion of the proceeding in which personal information was gathered and/or used we return the data, computer files and documents containing the personal information to the persons or entities which provided them. If it is not practical to return those materials, or the person or entity which provided them does not want them back, we destroy them, erase them and/or make them unreadable before disposing of them.

I acknowledge receipt of the foregoing Privacy Policy. I have read it and understand it. Any portions I did not at first understand have been satisfactorily explained to me. I agree to cooperate with the Firm in protecting personal information as required by the Act.
